On this site, we’re all about IGF-1 Supplements, including our favorite, AntlerX. But I’ll be honest. Even as a “supplement salesman”, I’ll give it to you straight: If you are not eating clean and healthy, supplements are a complete waste of money.
So let’s talk about the preferred IGF-1 diet, and what it’s going to take for you to get good and ripped in a few months time (of course, this all depends on where you start).
The IGF-1 Diet is Actually a Lifestyle
Before we begin, I just want to say one thing – eating healthy is not a one-time “diet”. It is a LIFESTYLE. You must dedicate, for the rest of your life, to treat your body right if you want to remain happy and healthy.
Yeah, there’s tons of plans out there, and lots of them work for a short amount of time. But are they sustainable? How long can you go with a low-fat, low-calorie plan, before your body caves in on you? And did you know that those low-calorie diets actually put your body into “starvation mode”, where it actually CONSERVES fat as it’s genetically wired to do? That just makes people trying to lose weight “skinny fat”, which is the most unattractive kind there is.
Instead, we’re here to get you good and ripped, and IGF-1 supplements can HELP – but it starts with the diet!
Introducing Fat Loss Factor
I want to introduce to you Marc Lobliner, the bodybuilding gentleman in the picture below. He is the author of Fat Loss Factor, a diet book that is all about getting ripped using whole, natural foods. No processed garbage, just good ol’ fashioned foods.
And yeah, you are going to have to eat a lot of vegetables. The amazing, colorful, leafy ones. It’s not always about calories – your body needs the nutrients from veggies!
Fat Loss Factor is absolutely free – all you need to do is click the image below and sign up for the e-mail list. If that’s too much work, you can just sign up directly from the link below this page.
Not only does it provide the diet, but it also has a 12-week lifting and cardio program that’s absolutely phenomenal at burning fat AND building muscle. It’s broken into three phases (the second phase is by far my favorite), and it’s a total plateau buster.
Additionally, Marc is going to have you do HIIT, or high intensity interval training as cardio. It sucks, and it’s painful, but it’s short (15 minute workout) and it WORKS like CRAZY. Please, please please… do the HIIT! Studies show that it helps burn fat far better than LISS (low intensity, steady state) cardio – but you should do bit.
The diet is given to you step by step. You don’t have to think at all, if you don’t want to. Just do it, and it’ll work!
Remember, there are no absolutes in training. There is no “best workout”, so cycle it up, but try the 12 week plan here first if you have nothing else planned!
But with diet, there IS a best diet – a whole foods diet, using natural foods that are in season. So let’s get into some of that.
Foods to Eat
Like we said above, we’re all about the veggies. You have to do it. Mix it with some natural fats, like olive oil and grass-fed butter or ghee, and it’s much better.
In addition, we’re huge fans of yams and sweet potatoes instead of grains. Grains are inflammatory and cause a lot of side effects and fat storage. Yams, however, are pure money, are true vegetables, and actually have NUTRIENTS!
Of course, protein sources are huge. Meat (lean beef, chicken, turkey), seafood (fish, crustaceans), eggs, nuts, seeds, and occasionally starchy tuberous vegetable.
For fruits, our favorites when it comes to keeping lean are berries and apples. They’re low-glycemic, meaning they won’t spike your insulin as much. Insulin spikes at the wrong time of the day (such as too close to before bed) are not good, as they cause your body to store fat. Insulin spikes after workout, however, are good.
And let’s not forget about fats. NATURAL fats are healthy! We’re talking about saturated fats such as MCTs (Medium Chain Triglycerides), coconut oil, macadamia nut oil (monounsaturated fats), extra virgin olive oil (polyunsaturated fats), and some fat from avocados and other nuts.
Supplements
Of course, some other supplements besides Antler X are great. For one, standard, good ol’ fashioned whey protein is good. Marc’s MTS Machine Whey is recommended as the Best Whey Protein for Men, but it also does great for women too.
BANNED Substances
On this diet, you can cheat every now and then, but there’s some stuff we NEVER like. They include high fructose corn syrup, corn oil, vegetable oil (including margarine – nasty!), canola oil, soybean oil (hell, anything with soy in it should be avoided like the plague as this will lower testosterone), and white, processed grains like white bread, pizzas, pastas, etc.
Follow it and after a month, you’ll see why – it feels GREAT!
